Job Title: Packaging Operator – 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Position Overview:
As a Packaging Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring products are packaged efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all quality standards. You'll operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and contribute to a team-driven environment to meet or exceed production goals. This role requires adherence to both domestic and international GMPs, SOPs, and OSHA safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Equipment Safely: Operate all packaging equipment in compliance with SOPs and OSHA safety standards, ensuring quality checks are performed consistently.
- Perform Maintenance Tasks: Execute daily maintenance routines per the autonomous maintenance policy.
- Troubleshoot Production Issues: Identify and address potential production issues proactively, communicating effectively with supervisors and maintenance teams.
- Achieve Production Goals: Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maximize uptime.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with U.S. and international GMP standards.
- Document Production Activities: Accurately complete logs and reports, including downtime, material usage, production yield, batch details, and inventory control.
- Train New Operators: Assist in training new team members as needed.
- Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent walking, including navigating non-handicap-accessible areas, and occasional ladder use.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related experience in a production or packaging environment.
