The Packaging Line Operator IV must be proficient with packaging equipment and quality control parameters. In addition, an operator will lead by example and utilize team-work skills to increase production and efficiency.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Follow production schedule to ensure orders are met on time and in proper packaging materials
- Understand and adjust packaging system parameters to maximize efficiency
- Operate packaging line supporting equipment according to SOP and make sure QC parameters are being met
- Keep all packaging and storage areas sanitized, organized and clean.
- Maintain stock of all packaging materials
- Use mechanical and troubleshooting capabilities to tune, clean, and maintain equipment for minimal downtime
- Complete all initial and on-going assigned safety training
- Fulfill all duties of Operator III
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsOPERATOR IV SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keg line: Obtain knowledge to run the line in the absence of a supervisor. Understand how the different packaging lines interact with one another and catch potential issues before they occur. Understand how Packaging interacts with other Departments and can work with QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, etc. in order to properly execute the schedule and make adjustments where needed
- Bottle lines: Obtain knowledge to run the line in the absence of a supervisor. Understand how the different packaging lines interact with one another and catch potential issues before they occur. Understand how Packaging interacts with other Departments and can work with QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, etc. in order to properly execute the schedule and make adjustments where needed
- Can line: Obtain knowledge to run the line in the absence of a supervisor. Understand how the different packaging lines interact with one another and catch potential issues before they occur.
