Packaging Operator - Lancesoft : Job Details

Title : Packaging Operator Location : St. Louis, MO Contract Duration : 12 Months Shift : Monday - Thursday;1:30-PM - 12:00-AM CST Pay : $20/hr. and 7% shift differential USD hourly on W2Job Functions Fill, cap, and label chemical products - Use electronic balances to properly weigh materials. - Manually fill liquids or powders - Set up and utilize semi-automated equipment to fill liquids or powders - Perform routine cleaning to semi-automated equipment - Perform fills in environmentally controlled areas - Fill hazardous products - Utilize pumps to transfer bulk solutions. - Filter bulk materials using pumps and in-line filters or vacuum filters - Manually torque caps with wrenches - Set up and operate semi-automated cappers - Hand label as necessary - Set up and operate automated labelers - Assist with loading bottles and pack-off during fill line operations - Pack kits according to procedures. - Use material handling equipment safely to transport materials throughout the building. - Clean laboratory glassware and batch tanks. Follow all quality and safety procedures. Support quality systems - Follow safety procedures at all times - Don, doff, use, and clean PPE - Follow Good Documentation Practices - Document all equipment used and verify calibration status - Be familiar with hazards common to assigned work and take action to correct unsafe situations - Participate in required safety activities such as training sessions, meetings, and documentation - Develop and assist in the implementation of process improvement ideas - Comply with the requirements of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 - Participate in 6S activities - Maintain good housekeeping and audit readiness
