Packaging Operator - Experis : Job Details

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the operations department supporting the packaging team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to following procedures which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Packaging Operator Location: Urbana, IL What's the Job?

• Receive materials that have cleared final quality inspection and prepare appropriate packaging containers.
• Fill prepared containers according to required configurations and ensure final labeling of packaged products.
• Transfer packaged products to the shipping department while maintaining accuracy and cleanliness.
• Complete detail-oriented paperwork and computer transactions to support packaging and ERP systems.
• Maintain proper inventory, organization, and cleanliness of the packaging department.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED minimum.
• Ability to follow procedures consistently and correctly.
• Experience in a chemical environment is preferred.
• Track record of holding down an operator role for an extended period of time.
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety standards.
