The Packaging Tech maintains and completes daily projects assigned by the Packaging Manager.
Schedule will be Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday, 6am-5pm.
- Maintains proper organization of the Packaging and Distribution rooms.
- Ensures the organization and cleanliness of the Packaging department related rooms. Ensure organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area.
- Performs regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors, table, floors etc.).
- Contributes to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Processing department areas.
- Contributes and shows support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
- Follows through with cleaning and organizing SOPs after use of equipment or supplies
- Checks final packaging to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant.
- Follows company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role.
- Follows all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
- Reports any improper action of compliance regulations.
- Follows instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.
- Reports data input as instructed for METRC plant tags.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
- Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.
