SureScan is currently seeking a Part Time Packaging and Shipping Support person to assist with meeting delivery dates of x1000 sales orders. The Packing and Shipping Support employee will assist Operations and Project Management, by ensuring the safe and secure packing and loading of contacted truck for x1000 shipments. This role will partner with Operations, Product Management and Engineering. Key Responsibilities:
- Relocate x1000 devices from production area to packaging and shipping area
- Disassemble x1000, in accordance with SureScan standard procedures, to the level necessary for shipment.
- Inventory all pieces and parts being packed for shipment
- Ensure accuracy and completion of SureScan Inventory Packing Sheets
- Safely and securely package and crate x1000 components
- Confirm and record accurate weights of each crate
- Load x1000 on contracted trucks and sea containers
Education & Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience with working on sensitive electronic equipment
- 3+ years' experience packing sensitive electronic equipment
- 3+ year's working and delivering New equipment
- Experienced in the use of basic hand tools, including powered saws, drills, impact drivers
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
- Certified forklift operator
- Knowledge and experience in documentation and inventory methods and tools
- The ability to visualize problems and articulate solutions
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Possess a strong and positive attitude.
- Proficient computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- High level of personnel pride in quality
- High level of personal enthusiasm and self-motivation
- Candidate must be meticulous in detail and must be prepared to follow instructions explicitly
- Candidate must be safety conscious
