Packer - OnCall Staffing : Job Details

A packer's job is to prepare products for shipping, including:

• Picking and packing: Pulling items from inventory, packing them, and weighing and labeling them
• Packaging: Using packing materials like bubble wrap or foam to protect products
• Labeling: Applying labels to shipments, including fragile containers and marketing collateral
• Quality control: Checking the quality of products and reporting any issues
• Order paperwork: Completing order paperwork accurately and on time
• Equipment operation: Using warehouse machinery like forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers
• Safety: Following safety requirements and maintaining a safe work environment

MUST know how to operate hand-held items - RF Scanner

May also help with loading items for delivery.

Skills and qualifications include:

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for hours in a row
• Detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to read and understand delivery orders
• Ability to work with minimal guidance
• Ability to operate computers and warehouse management software
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Physical stamina
