Job Summary & RequirementsSUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Visually inspect tubes for quality and properly pack tubes in trays and/or manual correction of caps on tubes performing the following duties. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures tubes meet company and customer quality standards.
• Works effectively with the machine operator in change over and production.
• Assembles cardboard boxes and trays.
• Responsible for thorough shift change over.
• Keeps workstation clean of debris and scrap.
• Assists the machine operator with routine machine responsibilities.
• Communicates quality and production issues to machine operator and/or supervisor.
• Verify the correct label is on the tube and boxes.
• Packs the appropriate number of tubes in trays.
• Ensures traceability.
• Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY

• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
