The Imaging Informatics Specialists acts as the first point of contact for all customers seeking technical support over phone, email or chat for a variety of imaging systems (PACS), software and hardware across the Health system. Ensures smooth daily operations by troubleshooting issues, assists with upgrades and testing, maintains ticket system records and knowledge base.Required Knowledge & SkillsEducation: Associate Degree or 2 years of college courseworkExperience: Two years of related experience. Works with HIM to clean up duplicate and erroneous data.Responsible for updating knowledge base by maintaining all documentation required by product system manuals or service contracts. Helps design training tools for end users.Assists with upgrades and validation of multiple applications and systems within imaging. keeps detailed records of testing and issues. Escalates system errors as necessary to next tier.First point of contact for all customers seeking technical support for PACS, imaging software and hardware across the healthcare system. Maintains ticket system, logging issues, troubleshoots, provides support, next steps and resolution.Assists Medical Staff on use of workstations, remote and web- based products.Training new users of the PACS system and related systems used within Imaging Departments across the healthcare system.Provides support for multiple applications and systems by remotely troubleshooting issues, escalating to next tier as necessary.Assists in the creation and management of down-time procedures for various system components.Call duties as assigned.Maintains effective communication and working relationships with all stakeholders.Other related duties as assigned.Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance Program. Is responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, Compliance Officer or HOT LINE.Works within the framework established by the IT and Imaging Informatics Departments and follows all appropriate policy and protocols put in place by the IT and Imaging Informatics Departments.Researches solutions prior to implementation to limit adverse effects on end users, other data or software hardware.Prioritizes work.Compliance StatementEmployee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program.
