The PACU is a very fast-paced and collaborative environment working with a wide variety of patients. PACU thrives on the rewarding feeling of working together as a team to manage patients' pain and see them improve rapidly!Schedule: 8 hour shifts; weekends and holidays are on callEssential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitoring patients post anesthesia (drips, blood pressure, airways)
• Keeping a close eye on vital signs and responding when needed
• Assessing and managing pain levels
• Educating and advocating for patients

Qualifications

• A valid NY RN license
• Previous PACU, ICU, or Telemetry experience preferred
• ACLS preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
