The Construction & Manufacturing Team is responsible for providing the field management personnel, from the craft worker to the Project Superintendent. The Construction & Manufacturing Team also provides the team member with logistical support; including but not limited to establishing per diem rates, company trucks for superintendents, and the coordination of arrival for team members as needed on the project. The Construction & Manufacturing Team provides continual training for our team members to support their development from entry-level craft workers, via in-house/online courses, to local jurisdiction apprenticeship programs. Haskell assists with working your way up through the ranks, you'll find new ways to use both your mind and your hands to get the job done.Joining our Construction & Manufacturing Team will enable you to build the buildings on which people depend; collaborating with your team to overcome obstacles and fix problems on the job site using your skills. Strong networks are formed on construction projects because everyone on the team depends on each and every team member to get the job done.As a Steel Cleaner and Painter, you will be responsible for cleaning, blasting, and painting structural and miscellaneous steel. Your role ensures that steel components are prepared, coated, and documented accurately while maintaining high standards of safety and organization.Your responsibilities will include:* Operate forklifts and obtain certification through company training.* Perform steel material blasting using bead blast equipment or manual sandblasting.* Apply paint coatings to specified thickness (millage), using appropriate gauges to ensure accuracy.* Transfer painted materials from the painting area to staging for delivery or installation.* Load trucks and accurately document all items loaded.To thrive in this role, you'll need:* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* Good organizational skills for managing materials and tasks.* Strong verbal communication skills to ensure clear instructions and coordination.Join our team and be a driving force behind our project success!At Haskell, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and more.
