Paint Prepper - Sheridan Auto Body : Job Details

The Paint Prepper at Sheridan Auto Group is responsible for preparing vehicles for the painting process. This includes cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming vehicles to ensure a smooth paint application. The Paint Prepper will work closely with the Paint team member(s) to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety guidelines.

• Clean and prepare vehicle surfaces for painting
• Sand and mask vehicles to create smooth surfaces
• Apply primers to vehicle surfaces
• Assist painters with paint mixing and preparation
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Prior experience as a Paint Prepper or in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good physical stamina and dexterity
• Knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in the automotive industry
