Painter $17.00 - Hotel Emma : Job Details

Primary Responsibilities:Duties are as follows but not limited to:* Maintains (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis.* Keep the hotel decor in good condition.* Clean all work areas after completing job.* Fill out Daily Work form.* Have a thorough understanding of Emma's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.* Have a thorough understanding of Hotel Emma rules and regulationsJob Requirements:* Minimum 1 year commercial painting experience required. Vinyl wall covering experience preferred.* Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, plaster and other painting materials, performing inspections and making painting repairs.* Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers.* Candidate must have excellent time management skills, the ability to work with both internal and external customers and a keen eye for detail* Must be able to handle frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.* Stand or walk for extended periods of time or for an entire shift.* Frequent bending and/or kneeling required.* 100% of mobility required in all areas of hotel property and ground.* Must be able to climb a ladder, work in high places and confined areas.* Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.* Attention to detail is important.
