Graco is part of your daily life.Where You'll Work - Contractor Equipment Division (CED)The Contractor Equipment Division makes sprayers that apply paint to walls and other structures, with product models for users ranging from do-it-yourself homeowners to professional paint contractors. Contractor equipment also includes sprayers that apply texture to walls and ceilings, highly viscous coatings to roofs, and line markings on roads, parking lots, athletic fields and floors.The future of CED is bright, with significant investments being made across the business; the division is expanding to accommodate increased demand and growth driven by an investment in new products and innovative ideas. With the global industry ramping up into high gear, CED is positioned to convert contractors accustomed to manually applying paint and other coatings by brush-and-roller to spray technology.Ready to join us?Job Purpose:Assist with pre-paint and post-paint activities to assure quality, timely delivery and the efficient operation of the paint line. Operation of the paint line with continuous flow of acceptable finished parts to manufacturing and/or stock.This position will be on 2nd shift - Monday through Thursday - 2pm to 12am.What You Will Do at Graco

• Masks parts prior to painting as defined by Graco prints and operation layouts
• Maintain required work efficiency and productivity on assigned work stations.
• Loads parts on the line prior to painting using defined racking procedures
• Conform to all safety rules including: wearing hoods whenever painting, wearing safety glasses anywhere within department, reporting any unsafe acts or conditions.
• Remove parts from the line after painting and pack/stack them in accordance with defined material handling procedures as required prior to stock or assembly.
• Under direct supervision from the Lead Painter, individual must accomplish following as time and opportunities permit
• Learn proper use of all paint line equipment.
• Fill in for other paint line operator functions including Painter as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring to Graco

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Math, Basic Blueprint and/or Math for Manufacturing, Blue Print Reading for Manufacturing, PC Skills for Manufacturing.
• Must be willing to perform a multitude of jobs including relief painting as department needs dictate.
• Must be willing to learn established department procedures.
• Must be willing to accept the challenges posed by a conveyorized team effort, operational within the paint line.
• Ability to learn a variety of department functions.

If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role.
