Painter/Carpenter- Coeur d'Alene Resort at Coeur d'Alene Resort in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Title Painter/Carpenter Job Summary The Coeur d'Alene Resort is seeking a versatile and skilled Painter/Carpenter to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance and structure of the resort through painting, carpentry, and repair work. This role is essential for ensuring that both guest-facing and back-of-house areas are well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. Wage: $30/hour or DOE Shifts: Sunday-Thursday with possible Monday-Friday Essential Functions Painting: + Prepare surfaces (e.g., walls, ceilings, floors) by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer. + Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to walls, furniture, and various surfaces. + Perform touch-ups and ensure that painted surfaces are free from defects, drips, or uneven coverage. + Collaborate with the housekeeping and design teams to maintain high standards in guest rooms, lobbies, dining areas, and outdoor facilities. Carpentry: + Build, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures such as doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, and shelving. + Perform framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry as needed in renovations or repairs. + Inspect wooden structures for damage, rot, or wear and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
