Painter (Deposit, NY) - Sportsfield Specialties : Job Details

Sportsfield Specialties is seeking a hands-on Painter, for our Deposit, NY location, who can work independently and/or with others as a production team member with good analytical skills. Candidate must be reliable and flexible with schedule during summer months.Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to:* Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations.* Maintain and operate powder coat equipment and spray booth as needed.* Sand, polish, wash, dry, and apply powder coat to products specifications.* Operate ovens and measure/monitor temperatures per product specifications.* Maintain proper respirator care/operation.* Weigh paint for accurate costing.* Become efficient with painting techniques to meet quality and efficiency needs.* Perform other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Skills:* High attention to detail.* Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, manage your time and be self-motivated.* Ability to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner in a deadline-driven environment.* Ability to use and operate power tools, ladders, and warehouse equipment safely.Experience/Education:* High school diploma or equivalent required.* Experience with powder paint preferred but not required.* Experience with electric, hydraulics; pneumatics and controls.Salary starting at $18.00/hr.+ DOE, great benefit package includes but not limited to: health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, flexible spending, and paid time off.
