As a Painter, you will be under direct supervision of the Facilities Director. The Painter works along side other maintenance personnel to keep the building walls free from holes, scratches and chipping paint. The Painter will also perform other maintenance tasks as directed by the Facilities Director. They will also be responsible for helping maintain the facilities in a safe and comfortable condition for residents, staff, and others who may be at Stonehill. This is undertaken in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of Stonehill Franciscan Services and federal, state, and local directives that govern Stonehill Franciscan Services to assure quality care to all residents. Job Tasks may Include

• Patches, repairs, and paints walls, handrails and equipment throughout the facilities as scheduled.
• Touch up walls when needed
• Work with other maintenance/EVS personnel to get rooms ready for incoming residents
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One to three years of previous painting experience
• Must be able to communicate in English, including reading and writing
• Must be able to respect privacy and confidentiality to perform job requirements
• Must be able to use some hand tools and to be prompt and accurate in completing assigned tasks.
