Salary: $23.54 Hourly Location : Beaufort Job Type: Full-Time Job Number: 202400364 Division: Capital Improvements Department: Facilities Opening Date: 11/07/2024 Closing Date: Continuous FLSA: Non-Exempt DescriptionSummary Objective The purpose of this position is to paint the interior and exterior of county buildings and offices, repair and install drywall and remove graffiti. Examples of DutiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary.

• Paints interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, equipment, and athletic fields.
• Paints and erects signage, banners, billboards.
• Organizes equipment, mixes paint and moves furniture to prepare for painting.
• Removes existing surface from area to be painted.
• Applies plaster, putty and other materials if needed.
• Erects and demolishes scaffolding and ladder.
• Performs related work as assigned.

Typical QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
• Over one year and up to and including two years of related experience.

SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:

• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
