To prepare and paint buildings, furniture, bridges, and other structures with brush or spray application. LEVEL OF WORK:Experienced. SUPERVISION RECEIVED:General from a Foreman, Painter Master, maintenance supervisor, warehouse supervisor, warehouse manager, or agency official of higher grade. SUPERVISION EXERCISED:None. JOB DISTINCTIONS:Differs from apprentice and similar job by its journeyman level painting duties. Differs from Painter Leader by lack of requirement to oversee work of other journeyman.
