Painter/Powder Coater - AG-PRO : Job Details

DescriptionLinx Manufacturing is located in Thomasville, GAProcesses weldments through each stage of the surface preparation and powder coating or liquid paint processes.Job Duties:

• Uses high pressure sprayers to thoroughly degrease and rinse welded assemblies.
• Uses low pressure sprayers to thoroughly apply surface treatment chemicals to weldments.
• Loads and unloads weldments from carts or an overhead rail system.
• Uses carts or an overhead rail system to move weldments through drying, powder application and powder curing booths.
• Applies powdered or liquid primer and topcoats.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Provides feedback to manufacturing and product engineers to improve the manufacturability of parts and assemblies.
• Handles materials in a way to minimize damage and to keep oneself and others safe.
• Verifies the safe operating condition of equipment needed to perform these duties.
• Participates in meetings to stay abreast of issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Performs other duties assigned by management to meet business needs.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in same or similar role.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Accuracy of work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• The ability to collaborate with other creative individuals.
• Basic data entry skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
