As a pallet repairer you will use pallet handling equipment and pallet repair equipment to efficiently repair broken pallets.WHAT YOU'LL DO• Safely and efficiently utilize the pallet repair handling equipment• Ability to build stable, well-built pallets for shipment• Understanding of pallet components, dimensions, and repair methods used whenrepairing pallets• Consistently meet company production and quality level standards• Applies lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the positionYOU MUST HAVE• Must be 18 years of age of older• High school diploma or GED• Must meet minimum requirements on pre-employment testing including aphysical examYOU MAY ALSO HAVE• Successful work experience in a production style environment• Successful work experience in an environment that promotes safety• Prior involvement in individual and team settingsROLE SPECIFICS• Dusty, noisy work environment• Indoor/outdoor work with temperatures varying from hot/humid to extreme cold• Extensive standing/walking while operating pallet repair equipment• Overtime as needed
