Job Responsibilities:

Safely operate woodworking equipment, including saw, table saw, chop saw, nail gun, screw gun, and other power tools.
Crate and Package finished goods product to ensure no freight damage.
Follow General Work Instructions and verbal instructions to Crate and package products with good quality.
Read all documentation, including BOMs, Prints, Parts Lists, and Drawings.
Use measurements to determine the optional size of crates and materials needed for shipment.
Maintain and Update the Weights and Dimensions log via Teams/Excel.
Maintain inventory stock in the area by providing purchasing requests.
Maintain a clean, orderly work environment by conducting 5S housekeeping activities at the end of the shift.
Attend monthly safety trainings, follow and support all company safety initiatives.
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor include but are not limited to Shipping, Receiving, and Assembly.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of related experience and/or education.
Power Tool experience with woodworking tools.
Ability to read a tape measurement and make basic calculations on crate sizing.
Ability to follow palletizing procedures and processes.
Must be able to operate a crane system safely.
Must become forklift and electric pallet jack certified within a few days of employment. Prior Forklift certification is preferred.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability and willingness to follow instructions and a positive “can do” attitude.
Must pass a background check as well as pre-employment physical and drug screen.
