The Paralegal reports to the Associate General Counsel. The role is based in NYC and you will be expected in office a minimum of three days a week. Responsibilities Marketing Support:
  • Manage the workflow of the legal team's review process & backlog, ensuring efficiency, prioritization, and adherence to deadlines
  • Track and maintain influencer, model, photographer, and/or vendor agreements, with attention to ownership and usage rights
  • Manage standard marketing contract forms (influencers, licenses, consent and releases, waivers, assignments)
  • Partner with quality, regulatory, and research & development teams, as needed
  • Research marketing guidelines and laws, as needed
Litigation Support:
  • Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents, evidence, and correspondence is properly filed and maintained
  • Track case deadlines
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather information and provide case updates
General Legal Support:
  • Manage legal department workflow using internal tools
  • Assist legal team with driving projects towards completion across broad spectrum of subjects (corporate law, employment law, etc.)
  • Manage standard non-disclosure agreement forms
  • Maintain and organize legal department's filing system
  • Comfortable with taking on miscellaneous legal and administrative projects and duties, as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 4+ years of related experience
  • Experience and confidence independently drafting work products and providing practical and sound business-oriented advice
  • Drive to improve processes & tools and educate on best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration within a team environment
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with, and manage expectations from, a variety of stakeholders within and outside of organization
  • Highly experienced in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity in learning and developing new areas of expertise
  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly
What We Offer 85K/yr - 110K/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
