As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and ensuring smooth communication with clients. WORK LOCATIONWORK SCHEDULE- This is a part-time position with flexibility in scheduling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare, draft, and organize legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Conduct thorough legal research and compile findings to support casework.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, filings, and client communications.
- Manage deadlines and maintain case schedules with accuracy.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost professionalism.
- Cover front desk when needed, including answering and directing phone calls and meeting clients in a professional and friendly manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Associate or bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar role in a legal setting.
- Paralegal certification preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
