Overview: The Para Planner role at Retirement Security Centers (RSC) is a vital part of our financial planning team, providing essential support to Senior Financial Planners in preparing and implementing financial plans, conducting research, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Plan Preparation:
- Assist in creating and updating comprehensive financial plans using Envision (Voyant) planning software.
- Analyze client financial information to identify potential gaps and opportunities.
Client Interaction:
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings, take notes, and handle follow-up tasks.
- Schedule appointments and provide exceptional customer service.
- Onboard clients, establish accounts, process transfers, and resolve NIGOs.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research and gather information to draft/update the Envision plan.
Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure compliance with RSC policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Place security trades and rebalance accounts as directed.
Team Support:
- Collaborate with Senior Financial Planners and team members.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes.
Qualifications:
Education and Licensing:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or in the process of obtaining).
- Securities licensing (Series 7, 66) and insurance licensing required.
- Additional credentials (CFP, CRPC) encouraged.
Experience:
- Previous experience in financial planning or a related field required.
- Experience with financial planning tools and CRM software preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial planning software, preferably Voyant.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
