Parcel Handler - Dot Foods, Inc. : Job Details

Location: Vidalia, GADepartment: WarehouseReports To: Warehouse Support ManagerSchedule: Full Time DaysAs a parcel handler at Dot Foods, you'll package and load cases for one of the fastest-growing areas of our business. You may use machinery needed to pick from high racks. Warehouse environment with ambient/dry, refrigerated, or freezer options.WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Package and repackage cases and individual items to be shipped via small carrier using automated equipment
• Load packaged cases onto trailers to be shipped
• Send office mail and supplies out via FedEx and/or UPS
• Print package labels and track daily production and shipment information
• Maintain and track packaging supplies
• Process returns

YOU MUST HAVE

• Ability to pass a standard physical abilities test to ensure you can meet the physical demands of the job
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous experience working with computers and/or warehouse systems

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Extensive standing and walking
• Lift cases-cases weigh an average of 14 pounds, 35-65 pounds on the high end
• 40 hours of vacation time available after six months at Dot; 80 hours of vacation time available after one year at Dot
