Parks Groundskeepers are utilized within various divisions of the Department of Public Works and Planning and the Fresno County Library's Facilities Division. Parks Groundskeepers are primarily responsible for maintaining County parks, grounds surrounding County Library facilities, disposal sites, recreational facilities, scenic drives, and other grounds surrounding County buildings. Positions may require the ability to work overtime, weekends (including Sundays) and holidays. Some positions may be assigned to the American Avenue Disposal Site located in Kerman, approximately 23 miles west of Fresno.
