SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Associate Dean, School of Rehabilitation Sciences

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Assistant Director of Student Engagement & Philanthropy, Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement, Graduate Assistant - Volunteer Management, and support staff as necessary.

POSITION SUMMARY : Acts as administrative support for the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, including managing compliance of student background checks and medical records, coordinating with the Directors of Clinical Education and other Administrative Support regarding site affiliation agreements as needed, managing affiliation agreement development, coordinating with Moravians legal team to realize affiliation agreements, communicating with Moravian partners about affiliation agreements, and monitoring site and preceptor/fieldwork educator compliance with submission of required information.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Serve as a point of phone and electronic mail contact for obtaining, retaining, and developing affiliation agreements for programs housed within the school.

Work collaboratively with the Directors of Clinical Education to coordinate phone, mail, and electronic mail communication between programs and sites.

Assist Directors of Clinical Education with creating, executing, and maintaining clinical education affiliation agreements for programs within the school.

Assist Directors of Clinical Education with maintaining a database of clinical education sites for programs within the school.

Reviewing and approving all compliance documents students enrolled in the EMT course

Managing clinical observation placements, onboarding, and reviewing and approving all compliance documents for students enrolled in the undergraduate Health Sciences program.

Assist existing Administrative Support Specialists/Office Managers in the School.

Collect, verify and manage compliance records of students in the clinical education database (Exxat).

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required, associate degree and/or three years related experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Preferred skills include excellent problem-solving, strong oral and written communication skills, initiative, independent decision-making, and ability to multitask. Required computer skills at an intermediate level with Microsoft Office, particularly database applications, word processing, and spreadsheets is essential.
