After-School Site Program Manager: ($25-$27.50) per hour (based on education, experience)

We are looking for a part-time After School Site Program Manager for our Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver location!

Position Details-

· Work Days: (Part-Time) Monday-Friday 2:45 pm -5:45 pm and any early release days

· Site Location: 5061 E 160th Avenue, Brighton, CO, 80602

· NO WEEKENDS!

· Start Date: Immediate

· Starting Wage: $25-$27.50 per hour ; ;(depending on experience and educational qualifications in a group setting)

Requirements:

· Must be 21 years or older

· One year of supervisory experience

· Verifiable education/experience

· REQUIRED-4yr degree education, elementary education, specialty in art/human service (social work, psych, etc.); OR 2yr degrees and 6mo (910 hrs) of experience from the age of 18; OR 5, 460 hrs of experience (2-3yrs) w/ 6 semesters of schooling or 40 clocked hours of training for school-aged children

· Currently live locally in Denver or the surrounding area

· Able to work M-F from 2:100-6:00 pm (may vary slightly due to site location) and any early release school days 12:30 pm-6:00 pm (hours will vary slightly due to school locations)

You'll drive the mission by:

  • Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation
  • Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
  • Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
  • Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children
  • Meets regularly with the Area Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; LIVE Scan Fingerprint, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate/ Cleared TB, CPR/FA
