Part Time Care CompanionDepartment: Core CareEmployment Type: Part TimeLocation: Los Angeles, CACompensation: $25.00 - $32.00 / hourDescriptionWe're currently looking for a Part Time Care Companion in Pico Rivera, California.A lovely woman in Pico Rivera is looking for a friendly Care Companion to provide assistance with bathing and mobility needs. Care is needed 2 days per week for 4 hours at a time. A caregiver with physical therapy or mobility experience, who is encouraging, would be ideal.

• Schedule:
  • Tuesday and Wednesday
  • 4 hour shift between 8am and 5pm
• Long Term
• Rate: $25-32 per hour

Responsibilities

• Excellent companion care for one client
• Assistance with showering, as-needed
• Support with mobility tasks such as:
  • Getting in and out of the car at doctor's appointments
  • Getting in and out of the shower
  • Performing prescribed physical therapy exercises

Requirements

• 2+ years of paid, professional experience with adult/elder care
  • Mobility | Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Ability to provide 2 care related references
• Valid license and reliable vehicle
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• CPR certified or willing to become certified
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check

Compensation + BenefitsCompensation: Position pays $25-32 per hour based on experience and client is looking for 8 hours per week.
