Part-Time Cashier/Stocker - ALDI : Job Details

Join our team as a Part-Time Cashier/Stocker and be a key player in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You'll operate registers, stock shelves, and maintain store appearance, all while delivering top-notch customer service. This role offers a dynamic work environment with new challenges each day.

Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50 | Year 3 - $19.00 | Year 4 - $19.00 | Year 5 - $20.00

Duties and Responsibilities: As part of our team, you'll collaborate with colleagues, provide excellent customer service, and help maintain the security and confidentiality of store data and documents. Other responsibilities may also be assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases, stock shelves, provide exceptional customer service, and keep track of inventory. Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities: Stock shelves, maintain merchandised displays, organize inventory, and operate machinery with a focus on safety.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store. Stockers must have the ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with the ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service. Effective communication skills, time management, and the ability to work within a team are essential. Cashiers should be able to operate a cash register efficiently and comply with relevant regulations.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus.
