About Vine Pro Imports:Vine Pro Imports is a dynamic wine importer and wholesaler that brings exceptional wines from premier wineries around the world to the U.S. market. Our portfolio features unique, high-quality selections that stand out in retail and hospitality settings. As a small, growing company, we are seeking passionate, self-motivated sales professionals to help expand our reach and grow our client base.We are hiring a part-time, commission-based Sales Consultant to establish and grow accounts in retail and hospitality markets. You'll work independently to develop relationships with restaurants, wine shops, and other potential clients, introducing them to our curated wine portfolio.This role requires significant travel by car within assigned territories, making it ideal for driven individuals who enjoy being on the road and engaging face-to-face with clients.What You'll Do:-Prospect and Acquire New Clients: Identify and build relationships with wine retailers, restaurants, and hospitality businesses through regular in-person visits.-Manage and Grow Accounts: Strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure consistent reorders and satisfaction.-Conduct Tastings and Presentations: Educate clients on our wines by organizing tastings, in-store events, or presentations. This may involve lifting wine cases (up to 45 pounds) and setting up displays.-Merchandise and Replenish Stock: Assist in building store displays, organizing shelves, and restocking products to ensure our wines are prominently featured.-Travel Within Territory: Drive regularly within your assigned sales territory to meet clients, conduct presentations, and grow the business.-Oversee Accounts Receivable: Monitor client payments and follow up on collections as needed to ensure timely payments.-Track and Report Sales: Maintain records of leads, orders, and client interactions, providing updates to the company through CRM or sales reports.-Negotiate and Close Deals: Work with clients to agree on pricing and finalize sales that benefit both sides.-Provide Market Feedback: Share insights on market trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for portfolio expansion.-Represent the Brand at Events: Attend tastings, trade shows, and industry events to represent Vine Pro Imports and grow brand awareness.What We're Looking For in a Candidate:-Passionate About Wine: You love wine and enjoy sharing your knowledge. Formal certifications (e.g., WSET) or industry experience are a plus but not required.-Sales-Minded and Driven: You have experience in sales, especially in wine, beverages, or hospitality, and excel at building strong relationships. Commission experience preferred with technical experience with Excel, Word and, Outlook.-Organized and Reliable: You can independently manage accounts, track orders, and follow up on payments.-Independent and Self-Motivated: You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are proactive in meeting and exceeding goals.-Excellent Communicator: You're confident in presenting products, negotiating deals, and maintaining professional client relationships.-Mobile and Flexible: You have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel extensively by car within your assigned territory.-Eligibility to Work in the U.S.: You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
