We empower people to thrive!Paid Time OffEducation ReimbursementReferral Bonus ProgramDutiesMaintaining the positive presentation of building amenities and common areas through continuous effortUnderstanding, maintaining and utilizing personal protective equipment whenever necessaryFollowing procedures for the use of power tools and equipment in order to prevent damage and prevent safety hazards to peopleUnderstanding and adhering to manufacturers' directions for mixing and using cleaning agents, detergents and acids according to specificationsGathering and emptying trash regularly from the offices and common areas of the building/propertyMonitoring, servicing, cleaning and supplying common area restrooms continuouslyCleaning and maintaining building floors and carpets, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, polishing and/or shampooing them on a regular basisDusting, cleaning and polishing furniture, fixtures, walls, machines and equipmentCleaning windows, glass, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and materialsUsing snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels to remove snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking areas and spreading snow melting chemicals as neededAssisting professional exterminators and also spraying insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation as necessaryAssisting in the cleaning and preparation of vacant units, including removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready activitiesEvaluating property interior and exterior lighting, both day and night, and correcting or informing the Property Manager or Lead Maintenance Technician of any lighting issues (may require after-hours visit to property)Recommending to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor any needed supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance dutiesMonitoring building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not createdAssisting the Property Manager or maintenance staff with lock changes and maintaining key/lock integrity and controlsNotifying the Property Manager of the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systemsAssisting in the movement of heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucksActing as another set of eyes  and reporting appropriately any hazardous conditions, malfunctioning equipment and suspicious or criminal activitiesDelivering written communications to residents as requestedQualifications include:High school diploma or GEDAbility to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push or pull over 25lbs.To be hired, candidates will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test.
