PURPOSESupport of operations management team with specific planning, communication, data entry, paperwork processing in support of customer deliveries. Position follow up to resolve issues and inquiries assigned to their area of responsibility. Position will constructively interact with the customer, co-workers and drivers while maintaining proper DOT compliance and world class service support. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Process required paperwork of BOL's Delivery Receipts to ensure TMS (TMW) are properly closed in system with all required documentation. Scanning required documents to TMS.
- Remediate missing documents; From Customer, Driver, or Operations.
- Communicate with Operations Manager and Customer as necessary for issues in the processing of required paperwork.
- Communicate to management and help facilitate resolution of driver issues, problems, and requests such as missing paperwork, improperly completed paperwork, PTO
- Focus on driver retention by building strong support relationships with each Driver.
- Assist Operations Manager ensuring drivers are in compliance with all FMCSA regulations.
- Utilize operational reports and metrics to ensure operating effectiveness can be maintained.
- Responsible for timely identification and communication of potential Driver safety compliance issues.
- Meet deadlines and deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- General knowledge of DOT regulations
- Experience in a administrative support role
- Proficient at Microsoft Excel and Word
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results
- Ability to promote a culture of trust andsafety
