Custodians are responsible to the building principal and superintendent. Head of Maintenance is advisory to custodians. Performance evaluations are completed yearly by building principal. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following but are not limited to them. Other duties may be assigned. Sweeps, mops, scrubs stairs, classrooms, and office space. Scrubs, hoses down, and disinfects toilets and floors daily, and cleans all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily. Empties classroom and office trash and garbage containers. Washes all windows on both the inside and outside at least twice each year, and more frequently if necessary. Keeps the grounds free from rubbish. Remains on the school premises during scheduled hours, and during non-school hours when the use of the building has been authorized and his attendance required by the principal.
