Job Summary
Under supervision, the job primarily involves preparing fish food (brine shrimp and flake), feeding fish, changing water, and cleaning fish tanks as assigned. This is a part time position requiring 4 hours per day on a weekend (one day only). The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $19.43 - $22.49 (Hourly Rate).

Department Description
The Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences (BTS) reports to both the School of Medicine and the School of Pharmacy. Its faculty perform high-quality basic, translational and clinical research in the fields of drug development, Pharmacogemonics, Therapeutic Engineering and Computational biology. It educates PharmDs, MDs, Masters in Translational Medicine and PhDs in bioengineering and therapeutic sciences. BTS maintains a core administrative unit led by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and supported by finance and administrative units.
