Part-Time Floor Care Worker - The Budd Group : Job Details

Pleasant, SC Days: Monday through Friday ( NO WEEKENDS!) Hours: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Pay: $17.00/hr (up to $680 every two weeks!) depending on taxes Responsibilities:

• Floor Care: Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing various floor types (e.g., tile, hardwood, carpet).
• Carpet Care: Clean carpets using appropriate methods and equipment, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, and extraction.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various floor cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleaners.
• Chemical Handling: Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufacturer instructions, adhering to all safety regulations and ).
• Other Duties: Perform other janitorial duties as assigned, such as cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, and restocking supplies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Floor Technician or in a related janitorial role, with a focus on floor care.
• Equipment Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge: Understanding of various floor types, cleaning chemicals, and proper cleaning techniques.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check and TB test
