It is the largest and most comprehensive indoor sports facility in North America.
SPIRE has seen significant growth in the 3+ years of ownership under the Ehrenfeld Companies. We have established and consistently grown the Academy business, expanded the Performance Camps platform, added a significant number of major Events, and built partnerships with global brands like The Cleveland Clinic, Marriott, Starbucks and Under Armour. Our national event partners include USATF, USA Wrestling, Big 10, Atlantic 10, NCAA and others bringing over 1MM visitors to campus annually.
Overview:
We are looking for Part-time House Parents who will actively engage, mentor, lead and assist student athletes, two or three nights per week/weekend. House parents have an active role in the student athlete's overall personal development. They will be actively involved in the lives of our student-athletes by supporting them at events, enforcing policies and procedures. This position is a flexible but includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Experience in camp/dorm housing supervision preferred
- Record Keeping
- Enforce SPIRE policies and procedures
- Weekly Staff Meetings
- Uphold the SPIRE Code of Conduct inside and outside of campus grounds
- Mentor, Lead and Assist Student Athletes in personal development
- Actively involved in promoting, and participating in student events, clubs and activities
- Control and report any unacceptable behavior and professionally deal with individuals not adhering to behavior protocols and the rules
- Respond quickly, intelligently, decisively and in accordance with established emergency protocols
- Transportation of Student Athletes Valid Driver License Required-Ability to pass state medical exam
- Available Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays
- Available from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on work nights (mostly sleeping hours) Room and board provided on work days
- Assist with evening study hall
- Work as part of a team dedicated to the safety and overall personal wellness of adolescents
- Assist in enhancing the multicultural, educational and social experiences of residential students living away from home
