At least 2 years of experience beyond nursing school and board certification. Some experience with doing home OT and PT exercises and attending OT sessions to understand what is expected of the patient in between sessions as needed

We seek skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to care for my mom in Merrick, NY. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of the patient while adhering to all healthcare regulations and protocols. Among the responsibilities are: - administering medications and treatments by doctor's orders; - keeping an eye on patients' vital signs and alerting the medical staff to any significant changes; - Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families - Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment - CPAP machine - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality; - have in providing care for patients with behavioral health needs—specialized skills in providing dementia care.
