Part-time Infusion RN - Oncology - Outpatient - Rockland NY - Tandym Group : Job Details

A hospital in New York is looking to add a licensed Registered Nurse to join their Outpatient Oncology center in Rockland County as a Nurse Coordinator. About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
• Setting: Outpatient
• Specialty: Oncology
• Patient Population: Adults

Responsibilities: The Infusion RN will

• Provide the primary point of contact between the patient and the interdisciplinary team in outpatient settings
• Perform frequent patient evaluations, including monitoring and tracking vital signs
• Perform procedures such as IV placement, phlebotomy, and administering medications
• Handle other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in an Oncology and/or Infusion role
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• OCN certification
• ONS Chemo/Biotherapy certification
