Job Title: Part Time Kitchen Prep / Dishwasher (part-time, seasonal)

Reports to: Food Services Manager
SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Head Chef and Food Services Manager this position will perform general food preparation within the kitchen, including chopping vegetables and fruits, handling food storage and washing dishes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist with food preparation
- Assist cooks with placing prepared food in serving containers and trays
- Assist with organization, cleaning and the sanitation of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
- Re-stocking food products
- Perform and ensure quality dishwashing duties
- Maintain all dishes, pot, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment and kitchen utensils in a clean and sanitized condition
- Maintain the dishwashing machine station, sinks and related area in clean and safe condition

- Food Handlers permit required
- Understanding of basic kitchen sanitation
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills
PREFERRED
- No experience is required but professional kitchen experience is welcomed (we provide training as needed)
- Knife skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe hourly rate for this position is
