Projects include providing education and performing data collection, data analysis and project evaluation. This work will improve community health by preventing disease and promoting wellness. The employee will provide support during public health emergencies.Plan project activitiesWrite project plan and review existing studies and dataDetermine performance measurementsPerform data assessment and create logic modelPrepare communication materials and databaseCollect and analyze data related to opioid and stimulant overdosesDevelop and manage surveys and other data collection toolsMonitor data from partnersClean data and perform descriptive analysesEvaluate interventionsCollaborate and communicate with community partnersWork with partners to collect and interpret dataUtilize the Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement PlanUtilize Public Health Accreditation Board Standards for health equity, data analysis and communication and community engagementCreate reports, presentations and website content for partners and the publicMinimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree. Must be currently enrolled in or graduated (within six months) from a masters level or higher healthcare, public health or social services program. One year experience or training in data analysis. One year experience with Microsoft Suite applications, such as Excel. Must complete Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) IS 100 and 700 courses within 30 days of employment.
