OverviewMHA in Ulster County, Inc. has a part-time (28.5 hours a week) Overnight Residential Coordinator position available. The Residential Coordinator assists in the planning and implementation of a rehabilitative, high expectancy program, and individually designed service plans for the adult population with mental illness and secondary problems in substance abuse, residing in one of MHA's residential programs. These services will be individualized and client centered to enhance the functioning levels and quality of life of the client population. The position provides case management services to adults living in our residential program and teaches life skills that prepares them to live more independently in the community. The Coordinator will monitor medication intake and ensures consumers have a clean, safe and orderly environment within the residence.The schedule for this position is Friday-Sunday 10p-8am.The Overnight Residential Coordinator has a starting hourly pay rate of $19.20. In addition, overnight shifts have an additional differential of $2.***This is an awake position.Responsibilities
  • Provide all residents with daily positive reinforcement, limit setting, and crisis intervention as necessary through direct supervision and interaction in the therapeutic milieu.
  • Assists residents in implementation of treatment goals as specified in the individual treatment plan.
  • Ensure that the nightly and morning routines of the residents are followed on a daily basis.
  • Complete all required shift paperwork (daily logs, goals, Critical Incident Reports, etc).
  • Complete overnight checklist.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Interested candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a passion and interest for working with adults with significant mental health and substance abuse behaviors.
  • This individual must have excellent writing, computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills and must be able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Must have a clean, valid NYS driver's license with 3 years driving experience.
