Job Description :

The part-time Property Manager is under the general supervision of the Regional Property Manager. The major areas of responsibility include assisting the Regional Property Manager in maintaining the physical asset and maximizing the financial returns in accordance with the owner's objectives. The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property. Location: Mentone Garden Court Hours: 12 hours per week, 2 days per week *possibility of an additional 8 hours at a different location Pay: $18 - $20 per hour ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and maintain tenant and property records, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Oversee on-site staff, service contractors, leasing processes, marketing, and property inspections under the Regional Property Manager's direction.
  • Manage tenant relations, including after-hours assistance, resident communications, and handling emergencies.
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, rent collection, and occupancy reports.
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests, follow-ups, and property upkeep.
  • Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, invoice approval, petty cash, and reporting variances.
  • Assist in preparing for inspections, management reviews, and attend Board/Owner meetings as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • A high school diploma or the equivalent
  • Property management experience strongly desired
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Office and computer experience
