Part time Sanitation Worker - City Of Winchester : Job Details

We are currently hiring for part-time sanitation workers!

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Pick up refuse cans from houses or business establishments and dump into trucks

* Clean area around cans

* Direct traffic and guide truck operator in congested areas

* Clean refuse truck and equipment

* Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

* Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, snow, etc.

* Required Physical Activities: Continuous heavy manual work at a rapid pace. Requires moderate physical effort working regularly with light weight materials and occasionally with heavy weight materials (over 60 pounds) including but not limited to walking, talking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, hoisted, pushing, and pulling.
