Department: Stadium Operations, Security & ParkingSupervisor: Director, SecurityClassification: Part-Time/Non-Exempt (Seasonal)SummaryThis position will be responsible for assisting the Security Director both administratively and operationally to help ensure that the department is operating efficiently while providing exceptional internal and external customer service. - Working with other team members for setup and preparation for large and small events, concerts, baseball games, and other activations that occur at Minute Maid Park.
- Logging incidents and dispatching security via phone and/or handheld radios in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible for monitoring CCTV and dispatching security officers during events.
- Relay information to senior staff as it becomes pertinent.
- Assist with badge and access card creation for all staff, contractors, third parties, etc.
- Respond to security incidents and prepare incident reports as required.
- Support the security team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the security department using various systems (FreshService, RedTail, etc.).
- Assist in processing personnel security clearances and conducting background checks through Red Tail System.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an outdoor and stadium setting. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. This job will be outdoors in varying weather conditions to include extreme heat or cold, storms or other natural weather occurrences. The presence of cover is limited in certain locations.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Additionally, specific vision abilities include close and/or focused vision. This is a largely stationary role that could require the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time in varying weather conditions (which sometimes could be extreme). Ability to lift, move and/or carry items weighing up to 15 pounds.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is part-time, seasonal position.
