Job Description Summary

This title may be used for departmental short-term assignments/projects. Hourly rate is dependent upon duties performed. Maximum hours eligible to work per week will be determined on a case by case basis and will be dependent upon a full-time equivalent. Responsible for the well-being of all the college owned animals to include feeding, watering and health monitoring. Properly maintain equipment, keep in good running condition, and keep up with servicing scheduling.

Required Education

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

Prior experience with livestock, farm animals and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Feeds and waters livestock owned and used by the college.

* Cleans barns, picks up trash, monitor stalls for cleanliness.

* Drives tractor to mow, empty poop dump and drag arenas.

* Administers simple medications and performs simple techniques to provide medication to sick animals.

* Operate, repair and maintain farm implements and equipment used at the farms.

. Mowing and trimming of grass.

Other duties as assigned.
