Part-Time Store Clerk - The Salvation Army USA Central Territory : Job Details

SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE: Manage daily operations of The Salvation Army Newton thrift store.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

MARGINAL DUTIES: Other similar and related duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Training or experience in customer service or retail display preferred.

BACKGROUND: Position requires a background check to be completed and all background check results will be reviewed.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required.

COMPUTER/PROGRAM SKILLS: Ability to operate store cash register and credit card processing machine. Basic computer knowledge needed to access time clock and personal information via a web-based system.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must pass all applicable background checks.
