JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Child Care Center at Hort Woods is seeking individuals to support classroom teachers at the on-campus child care center.
Responsibilities include:
+ Supervising children alongside full-time staff members (candidates may be assigned to infant/toddler or preschool classrooms)
+ Guiding classroom activities and supporting curriculum
+ Interacting with children one-on-one and in small groups
+ Assist children with daily routines, such as during meals and naptime.
+ Help educators keep environment organized and safe for children in the classroom
+ Candidate must be flexible, able to follow guidance of classroom teachers and communicate effectively.
This job requires a physical and TB test, in addition to the following 4 publicly available clearances :
+ PA State Police Criminal Background Check
+ PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
+ FBI Criminal Background Check
+ NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry Verification
Additional clearances may be necessary if you resided outside of Pennsylvania in the past five years
