Join our team today!Northwest Journey provides a community-based treatment option by offering comprehensive intervention and preventative services aimed at preventing out of home placements and creating family stability and individual success. In addition, Northwest Journey provides therapeutic support services for children, adolescents, and families transitioning back to the community from out-of-home placements.This role is part time. We are looking for someone to work 6-8 hours per week.Benefits:Paid Time OffTeam building and bonding with other professionalsWellness Program with rewardsOngoing training and educational opportunitiesTherapist Summary:The Qualified Treatment Trainee (QTT) provides clinical services within the day treatment program. Clinical services may include: individual/family counseling sessions as well as group counseling services. He/She/They works alongside the Licensed Mental Health Professional to aid in role modeling and mentoring staff in providing high quality treatment services. The QTT functions as a treatment team member and collaborates with both the Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) and the on-site Psychologist in order to provide therapeutic services to identified clients and their families. The QQT will receive clinical guidance, support, and supervision from the on-site LMHP, Psychologist, and Program Director.Duties and Responsibilities:Facilitate comprehensive individual, group and family counseling sessions.Collaborate with and guide treatment team members in implementing individualized and comprehensive treatment plans.As necessary, participate in team meeting(s) to discuss client progress and treatment issues.Facilitate weekly clinical staffing/treatment plan review meetings.Complete all required documentation.Further develop and distribute treatment materials to meet the needs of clients and staff development. Assist on site with groups and interventions as neededRequirements:Meet qualifications for a Qualified Treatment Trainee as defined in DHS 40:Qualified treatment trainees shall have one year of a graduate level education program specific to serving youth with mental illness or severe emotional disturbance and shall provide psychotherapy to clients only under clinical supervision.A graduate student who is enrolled in an accredited institution in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, nursing or a closely related field and is doing a supervised practicum for their graduate degree program.A person who has been awarded a graduate degree by an accredited institution and has completed coursework in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, nursing or a closely related field who has not yet completed the applicable supervised practice requirements described under s. MPSW 4.01, 12.01, or 16.04, or s. Psy 2.10.
